​From Design to Prototype

 

A final prototype needs a variety of models, design studies and tests, before it can be  built …

 

Sketches

Countless sketches are made before we decide to build a model, a functional prototype or a professional design from an expert. These sketches are made simply and like decades ago with a sheet of paper and a pencil

 

Design Studies

Design Studies are made by professionals, which a professional education in design and an emphasis on submarines, drones or ships

 

CAD drawings

For our beach robot, our hybrid drones and wing gliders, we need a CAD drawing (computer aided design)

 

Model

Typically, the basis is a design study or a 3D CAD drawing. For our Wing Glider 2.o, we use a clay model

 

Prototype

A prototype is a full functional model of a robot, a hybrid drone or wing glider.

Hybrid Drone

Our new hybrid drone can start from the coast in a vertical position and fly to a GPS point at sea. The pictures below actually show a design mule which means not a functional model. The real model is finished and ready for production. If interested, please send us an inquiry and fill-out the contact form, since this drone cannot be shown to the broad public for copying reasons. Function

The new drone can both fly and water for hours once available. For flying to a GPS point, the hybrid drone has a built-in flying drone with 6 – 8 electrical engines – strong enough to carry a few kilograms of weight. Once the GPS point is reached, the drone lands on the surface of the sea, in a vertical position.  Firsts tests are successful. Since the hull is 1.5 meters or more in the water, measurements about e.g. water quality, ph-value, salt-value or amount of algeas can be taken. Future Versions will have also an option to take sediment samples with a mini ROV included.

 

The drone can remain hours or even days in the water to carry out further measurements before flying back to the starting point

Wing Glider Drone 1.0

At the beginning, the wing glider was planned only to pull our Ocean Tube through the oceans to collect waste and plastic. But due to the multiuse options, the wing glider will be sold also to other industries in future

Description

The Ocean Wing Glider under construction is our flagship and will be between 8 - 12 meters in length, have small delta wings and a double tail and is optionally (Mid-East market) equipped with a passenger cabin for two people. Similar to the well-known flying drones, we will install two horizontal electric rotors - which are also optional depending on the area of application of the glider - in order to enable quick changes of direction. The main propulsion will be operated with hydrogen. The concept will be modular for industrial production.

 

 

Wing Glider 2.0

Based on the various models and tests we started already with the design of version 2.0. The new model will be more elegant with like a manta ray and an outside gondola on each wing tip. The gondolas will carry two more powerful electrical engines, which can be adjusted 180 degrees in each direction.

Ship Model Drone

We were able to acquire the blueprints of a yacht study called “Code X”, which will serve as the basis for our model ship drone. This allows an Ocean Tube with a radius of 5 meters to be pulled
